Thanks to latest brushless technology, madness is a hell lot of fun.  Notice I had to gear down a lot, but then the car throttle response is really great . . ..

Now I need to be more careful in not smashing it up . .

This is the rear shaft and wheel adapter converted on the TOMY.  It's been a long time but I think the shaft is based on Kyosho as its got a tapered adapter, see pics.

And this is the front shaft converted on the Tomy.  The front shaft uses Hex Pin adapter which is different from the rear.

I recall in all I had to look around for the right length shafts and hex adapter (many years ago) and match up to the car.  I did that because the old TOMY wheel hubs / nut were worn out and could not be replaced, so I had to convert both the draft shafts and wheel adapter in order to use "more normal" 12 mm hex wheels.
