2. I have asked the seller about the flight time. He said it could fly within 10 mins. per charge, is that true?
Seems a bit short, how could make it fly longer?
For beginner, try to fly form planes and not balsa wood, easier for repair. Artech Cessana is a good choice.
Fly time is usually around 5 - 10 mins, more than enough. Make sure to get brushless motor and Lipo, much better power to weight ratio for beginner as well.
Dont waste time on RC TX/RX unit that come with standard package. Better to buy a low end 4 channel (minimum) good brand. If serious get a 6 - 7 channel.
Also, get a good flight sim software to practice. This is a must. For less damage and safety.
I have bought the Artech Cessana last weekend.
Read the manual and keep practicing on the flight sim software it comes with these days and getting no problem on taking off and landing now.
I gonna assemble the plane this Sat and see if it could have its 1st fly on Sun.
Any tips for 1st fly?
Also, I just have 1 battery now with 11.1v 1100mAh, is that I could get extra with larger mAh in order to fly a bit longer?
For the RC TX/RX, it comes with a 2.4G 7Ch. No idea if it works well but seems not support the Flight sim program like Phoenix. Any good recommendation?
I would suggest you to have a frd with some flight experience to maiden your plane if possible.(that might save your plane)
You will feel very different in flying a real rc plane than in the flight sim.
Yes , you can get a bigger batt say 1500mah to get more flight time.
For your 1 st flight, make sure to check all the servo linkage to contol surfaces, CG, correct control direction with your TX control stick movement direction..... etc.
