Hi guys, I am new here and just start building my King Hauler + MFC01

I have a Futuba s3003 servo for shifting already, however I am not sure which servo is the best for steering, I am looking for a stronger servo for steering but its seems those high torque high voltage servo will fire the MFU or cause the truck to shut down... so does it mean I sould stay with those servo operating at 6V, around 10kg torque?

also what differential grease do you guys use in the truck?

a 4.8v input servo like S9203 S9204  S9255  9-9.5KGS torque enough for a Tamiya truck

i am now using two s3003 for a start, will change the steering servo for a stronger one later.

one question is if a servo shows both torque figures at 4.8v and 6v, will it operate at 4.8v under the MFC01 unit? I worry it might draw more power based at 6V consumption

two s3003 is enough for both steering and shifting, of cause you can use it until you cant accept the performance or it went haywire.

it will depend on the supply voltage of the servo port on the MFC, i don't have one in hand therefore i cannot test the voltage, however, those figures shows torque when supplying 4.8v and 6v, and 6v power consumption will always higher than 4.8v when current(I) is same.

thanks for your advise, I think two s3003 works fine, its seems i dont need to install external ESC to prevent MFC unit shuts down on run
