I have just finish building mine, if anyone is interest, I have a detail building report on RCfans.

To be honest, the Cougar really is not for beginners, and there are alot of things which I think can be improve. However, it does look great!

I spend a week with it already, but when you build it, be very careful, there are alot of little things you need to pay attention with....

Gear Box, take your time with it.... Read my post in RCfans, I have already point out things that you need to know, hope that can help all other Cougar lovers.

Same with B4? Far from it! The fact that it's a mid motor are already miles apart with B4.

Cougar is not the first mid-motor car, but it should be the first mid motor car that can still use a stick pack batteries right in the middle, that I guess, will be one of the selling point

Hi brother, I can see you only use shrink tube for (+) connection in the ESC, is there a reason  ...
rk2 發表於 2010-5-28 09:04

The reason for the shrink wrap is to avoid shorting between the + and - pole, which are sitting next to each other. So you only need to wrap one pole to avoid that, but ofcause, you can do it both to make it look nice, I am just lazy...

I met up with a Singapore 高手 last nite and had his SX car on my. I would say, very very nice car.  ...

Tiger Ching, you are talking about the SX or the SV? SX is 4WD and SV is 2WD. Can't compare the SX with the B4 for sure

Actually if I remeber correctly, B4 are using the screw method too. Infact, the Cougar are using the same wheel type and fitting method as Associated, which personelly, I prefer the Losi type.

I can finally get to test it on my track next week, will let all C-Hing know how it actually run, I suppose the set up will need to change big time compare with the astroturf track the European are use to.

Finally finish the whole car, do some testing in our track last night. With some setting change, it's getting very close to my liking, however, it will be great if Schumacher include the 4 hole piston rather then 6 hole for the rear, even with AE 45, I still think it's abit too soft...

Some photo before the testing commence, when the car are nice and clean...haha

What is the difference between Pro CF & Race S1?
What is your version? Joho
Bluebird 發表於 2010-8-3 22:00

Pro-CF means just like that, pro kit with full carbon fiber, also come with Big bore shocks. The S1 kit is a cheaper version whick replace all carbon fiber with FRP, also come with normal shocks. If you are asking me, go to the Pro kit la, it's worth every penny of it.

I am not sure about HK price, I got mine from the China distributor.
