The melting point is lowest when the ratio is 63/37. Why it is difficult to melt is the China wire is not use for electronic soldering and is only use for welding. For soldering, the wire should have flux core to help further lower down the melting point and clean the soldering point. You can go to hardware shop to buy a can of flux if you want to use up the existing China Tin/Lead wire.
