RS4 Tpye SS was my first GP, it run on axle drive.
Parts are worn out fast (i.e. drive shift, dog bones are weak..)
Maybe it is designed for stree drive instead of track use, the chassis and arms are way too weak. It makes the turn and corner unpredictable; but it helps on low traction surface.
It is also not recommend to put on high power engine (i.e. 1.2 ph or higher, as the frame doesn't really support for. It will only put your car on high risk of damage.
