not 100% correct, some cheap AM receiver (e.g. Futaba 112) comes with BEC

Gibson hing, you can observe the shape of batt plug of 101 ESC is different from the others. There are 2 slots on the plug, you can see the BATT female side of cheap AM receiver with BEC also have these 2 slots for identification

yes, the key point is 到而家. You can use a voltage meter to check the output of the 101 ESC, the voltage is some as the NiMH/ LiPo output i.e. ~8.x when fully charged. If you check the specification of your Futaba 2.4G receiver, you will know whether the design of your 2.4G is for operating at such high voltage.  Overvolatage operation may not damage your receiver immediately, it may just shorten the life of it.

One more point, you can feel your servo is turning faster

I am using 101 with 3003, the servo works normal wor!! Maybe it cannot compare with 9551.

    我就係4pk 加101bk 加9551 全部到而家都健康

I used Tamiya TEU-101BK with both Spektrum DX3R and KO EX-1UR 2.4 receivers, Futaba brushless servos BLS451/351/352 and 7.2 Ni-MH or 7.4 LiIon without problem for over 2 years inmy CR-01 / M05.
