Very good question!!

Hilux too heavy. But with changeable gear box.
CR01 pure for crawling.  
Quite difficult to compare!!

i think CR01 is a balance point between Hilux and AX10, A good looking car with abit crawler ability.
CR01 is a really nice car but for me, if i want a good looking car i will get a Hilux, on the other hand if i want a crawler i will get a AX10.

so, that why .......i choose hilux...

For a die hard tamiya fans, I bought both!!  hilux and CR01....

hilux 就像真d... 如果鐘意像真就一定係hilux la.. cr-01 就未玩過但我估一定好爬過 hilux... 但一般玩下offroad hilux 都應付自如0既....

Out-of-the-box, Cr-01 is a more capable in off-road than the High-lift.
However with some mods (and $$$), the high-lift can also become a capable off-roader (with the scale looks).

i choice cr01

both is good la
of cause hilux is good....
but cr01 can't climb well & is cheaper ;P
