this is just a modified design of brushless motor law

i think i'd rather hope for wireless power

信!!不過多數玩平地, 跑越野會好昜爆心

應該唔會掛... RC 唔會應用...

I dont think RC will use hub motor wor. The reason for hub motor is because the speed and torque of motor doesnt scale linear enough with size. Power consumption also doesnt scale linear with size.  Hub motor solves the problem of using a few small motors instead of using one big motor. And this help for the ESC too because the efficiency and output quality of transistors power converter doesn't scale up good enough. Using separate small motors can avoid the use of high power power converter.

Back to RC car,  they are in small scale. the mechanical power to size ratio is much better than real car. So using single motor is more efficient. And the current is so small in RC car compare to real car. Power converter is easy to design. Therefore hub motor is not going to be used. Unless there is sudden big improvement in technology.
