the second one when the esc have a green light what does it mean>? the motor also have loud sound is that the turbo? in the first and second video i only change to start punch to smooth.
the speed passion 3.0 there's 0 to + 10 how to adjust and turn>??作者: hardmankam 時間: 2010-6-10 21:23
Set item #4 (DDRS) less than 7, the Boost/Turbo function will not kick in. So set #4 to 7, 8 or 9. I think it was a BUG in the software.
You can control the amount of 'punch' using #15 instead.
I also suggest you try the motor with a load. (At least install the pinion and mount it to a car). that way it is easier to see the result. also with a unloaded motor, your rotor may get damaged... I broke mine before.
BTW, I have a HW, not speed passion. but i assume they are similar.作者: hhxhkuroro 時間: 2010-6-11 14:46 回復 2#hardmankam
do you have 120a or 60a? does the 80a and 150a for off road can work on 1/10 for better current?. thank you ching作者: hardmankam 時間: 2010-6-11 17:29
I have the 120A version. The offroad 80A or 150A is too big for onroad application. also, they do not have the boost/turbo features.作者: hhxhkuroro 時間: 2010-6-11 18:06 回復 4#hardmankam
i always wanted to put a bigger motor in my 1/10 like i put 280 motor in mini-z...... flys....作者: hardmankam 時間: 2010-6-11 18:35
I see 2 problems with using bigger motors in 1/10 scale.
1) Bigger motors use 5mm shaft, so you will need to find pinions that fit and use 48 or 64 pitch.
2) Bigger motors has a lot of torque. So the car will be very difficult to control under acceleration.
If you purely go for speed, it is better to use more voltage instead. Try 3S Lipo or even 4S Lipo. It will be very fast.
