For 1/12 or F1:
* 70% will be tires, both front and rear tires have to be right. Usually rear is softer than the front. (ie Rear Soft + Front Med or Rear Med + Front Hard etc...) Tire additive will help tire grip for sure.
* 20% will be ball diff. Set it too tight, easy to spin out. set too loose, no power
* 5% use a low-torque motor, or set your ESC to be less punchy. This will help acceleration to avoid spin-out.
* 5% the rest of the car setup.作者: hardmankam 時間: 2010-9-2 14:44
Different track requires different tires & settings.
at JV, its high traction; Med Rear + Hard Front. Rear Full sauce, Front 1/4 sauce
at TC, its low-med traction; Soft Rear + Med Front. Rear Full, Front 1/2.作者: ryancmlam 時間: 2010-9-2 15:27

Ching, no one will laugh at you la. If you could handle 12 son well, your skill level is really very high la. Even touring driver need times to learn how to play 12 son. It is the hard topic.作者: Lotus 時間: 2010-9-2 15:58 回復 20#shungyan
of course la. even if the car is setup perfectly, you still have to train your finger to be very soft and smooth to avoid spin-out. Be patient. After you are trained in 2wd, you will find 4wd very very easy to drive.
.... 一行直路一轉灣就甩到九彩
--> make sure you have NO Drag Brake in your ESC and dont brake in the middle of a corner, otherwise you will spin-out for sure.作者: Lotus 時間: 2010-9-2 17:29 回復 24#hardmankam
