Hello all, would like to seek recommendation for charger for charging Lipo 1-cell 3.7V?
I would like to have one for charging Silverback 1-cell Lipo. Thanks !

For $$, Hyperion, Mega Power and Bantam are very good.
For $, china brands (eg: Imax B6) are ok to use too. (but mine broke down after 1/2 yr with normal usage)

I am using a Mega Power (MP) 960SR, this is the top model for a single output charger from MP, so it is more expensive.

The MP830DC is a pretty good choice. Another good one is the Hyperion 0606i. Both are about $4xx (I think).

What is your budget?

The silverback 1s uses banana plugs, so make sure your charger has that. If not, you can easily make an adpater (ie t-plug to banana). Just make sure you plug in +'ve and -'ve correctly.

1s lipo do not need to balance charge, so most lipo chargers can support it. of course high-grade chargers can peak the battery better than the cheaper ones.

At the moment, I am consider to buy a charger at around 400 so that I could buy some more Lipo cells for testing the 1/12 pan car. ^^

Sorry, I only can play on weekends.
The HW 1s ESC looks promising and the price is very reasonable too.

Hello all, I have a question on charging the new Lipo battery.

At the begining, I start charging the Lipo cell at 4.5A and it seems that the new cell (Silverback 3.7V 1-cell Lipo 5800mAh) only got 2480mAh charged and it was automatically stopped at about 1hour.
After that, I tried to charge the Lipo cell again but it stopped at about 30sec.

Would it be normal for 1st time charging? Thanks ^^

It looks about right. The charger will stop charging when the lipo reach 4.2v for 1s. In your pic. the charger put in 2480mAh in your lipo.

同我一樣,不過我隻sxx v2已去修理,唔知係咪真係要等個幾月,同現在冇esc cant test 我隻x12 有冇死,因倒左半支呔水落motor之後已用motor cleaner洗過唔知仲用得無

No ar. With lower A charging, it produce less heat so better for battery and charger, but takes more time. It should charge about the same capacity than fast charging.

May be I have placed my battery on the floor tiles during charging, the battery is quite cool even charging for an hour. ^^
