I have SE (Speed Energy) and Team Power 17.5 motors. Unfortunately, after testing why, I found both motors brushless sensors are broken.
Anyone know if they can be replaced or repaired for these brands? And if not, anyone has experience repairing them?

Go to action hobby to buy the sensor kit for team powers motor, around $60-70作者: nel3838 時間: 2011-5-3 07:34 本帖最後由 nel3838 於 2011-5-3 09:29 編輯
I discovered problems with mine because sometimes the HW ESC triggers green flashing light and the car goes slow (goes out of turbo mode) even thou the battery is newly charged. It never happened before, and then started to happen recently.
I took the motor apart and swap another new motor's sensor cover on, and no more problem.
I guess it is harder to detect when running in MOD mode (non-turbo), as I think if the sensor is not working, the esc will just operate in non-sensor mode which is harder to detect. Probably then the linear-proportion will not be as good. And maybe check out if any lights are flashing on the ESC.
Hope this helps.作者: ryancmlam 時間: 2011-5-3 22:20
you may wish to check the sensor cable before buying a new set of sensor circuit.
