標題: 新手想買Sakura S
本人乃新手一名，想試吓平平哋砌部RC。Sakura S Zero 是否適合新手？KWS 好似無貨，哪裏買最平同有貨？
Yahoo 見 GT3B 連 receiver $275 + Servo $75 + VB Power 7.2V 3600mHA Ni-Mh $158
ok 嗎？
ESC 用乜好？大約幾錢？
最後，車殼去邊度買？大約幾錢？

Sakura S is okay. If you have problems runing a straight line, and other adjustments don't help, suggest you upgrade the a-arm mounts to metal ones.

If you plan to race in a track, suggest you get a better remote control (e.g. Futaba 4PL / Sanwa MT-4). GT3B is cheap but too slow for fast driving in a track (your car will be diving here and there like a fish because of delays in the remote control).

haven't think that much at the moment,
not planned to race so just want to cut down the cost

For basketball court driving, GT3B is fine. Try a slower motor first. Otherwise parts in the Sakura S will wear out qucikly and you need to spend $$ to upgrade. ESC try Hobbywing 60A with a 8.5T motor.

Spend $100 more on the battery to get a Lipo battery.

No.

No motor, no pinion gear, no electronics, no body shell. Comes with 4 poor quality tyres (no grip + wears out after 2 packs of Lipo). But still, $600 is a bargain.

I don't think so. I think you will save money buying the S in the long run? With TT-01 you will end up spending a lot more to upgrade.

What's your budget?

If budget is limited, second hand is a very good choice.

I'm a beginner too and just got my Sakura S abt a wk ago. It do worth for beginner at very very good price. My frd got a TT01 at the same time as mine and he now regret.

Agree, it's almost a trap.

You buy a TT-01. Then you start to find out its limitations and upgrade, bit by bit. When you realise the cost of your TT-01 is more than that of a X-Ray T3, its already too late. You have bought all the spare parts, batteries etc. Besides, what do you do with your $5,000 TT-01 then?

In fact, for someone likely to do a lot of chassis upgrades, it's actually cheaper to get the Sakura Xi or other top model chassis!
