Just my personal views: I can hardly find any bad-fitting pieces at my VBC. Owning a T3 2012, I find the quality of those non-metal parts from VBC is very similar to those XRAY products. Can't comment on the durability of those VBC parts yet, will have the test-drive done tomorrow and am looking forward to the performance of this new car.作者: jf813 時間: 2012-6-15 10:45
To be hornest I like this car a lot in terms of handling and how durable it is. I don't really worry about the parts issue as I do not think Andy will close his shop any time soon.... From what I've seen, i too like the look of this car. I've been thinking of picking up this one or the Arc10 as a spare car to tinker with, as they are both new/affordable quality cars.
Although it is a little concern of mine about parts etc in the future, what bothers me more is that I'm sorry to say I'm not keen on the one shop that sells this car.

Went to TRC for my VBC Wildfire test drive on Friday and would like to have some of my sharings about the car. This is just my feelings and thoughts and definitely not the writing of 打手. Honestly I wish I'm those 打手 so I can get into the group .
I was running 13.5T with boost, FDR = 5.9 (have replaced the factory spur gear with XRAY 84T 48P, personally don't like 64p gears). Before running the car, I've dropped the front spool (again personally don't like front spool too) and have installed the VBC gear diff running with 400,000cst diff oil. In terms of steering, the car has got very good turn-in response. It responses well and direct toward driver's inputs. At the apex and corner exit, the car grips well and allows me to go full throttle quicker during corner exit. Down the straight, the car is very stable and no funny moves though.
I was lucky that I hadn't got any big crashes during the day so I couldn't tell how durable those parts was. When I examined my car last night, it seemed like everything was fine, just like the time when I was building the car week ago. I'm not the "high hand" and surly got some mistakes during my drives, still I have taken some videos to share with you all:
You can try using 0.5mm spacer under the 'front front' arm mount and 1mm spacer under the 'front rear' arm mount. This will give the car some anti dive so the front will not dive as much during hard braking. Or slightly heavier front shock oil so the front end dive slower. 如果喺臂碼下加spacer係咪會影響到成個懸掛既幾何結構,
即係我喺其他部份係咪要做返相應既拹調?
除左換硬啲既避震油外,

首先 , 原裝setting我作出以下改動:
前camber Link inner 由 2mm 介子變1.5mm
後camber link inner 由2mm介子變1.5mm , outer 用3.5mm
臂碼roll center 介子 跟原裝
尾油壓腳粒長機米加2mm 介子
臂pin介子改用金屬 , FF碼放3mm , FR 碼放1mm , RF 碼放1mm , RR碼放3 mm
頭直 , 尾牙(京商2000 diff oil)
Camber : F 2.0 , R 2.5 (好睇場地咬唔咬 , 有時行到 R3.0)
Down stop : F 6 , R 2 ( 唔好媽叉我點會尾2 , 有VBC車既師兄一定會明)
F : Toe out 1 , R: Toe in 3
anti roll bar : F 1.4(原裝) , R: 1.2(科水買pls)
Shocks: F 40 AE shock oil , R 40 AE shock oil , 10 % rebound , 縮芯 , 3 holes 柏
Spring: 易計數 , 改叻banned}ay spring ....F 2.6 , R 2.6
油壓架孔 : (里面數出來) , F : 4 , R 3
Ride Height : F 4.5 , R 5.0
