標題: TA05 Street Run
Is there any hop-up to cover up the spur and pinion gear? Or even the bulk head? I have to take the car up-side-down to empty the little stones because it jam the gear and make loud noise....

I also see some slight marking/damage on the spur gear...

Not 掃齒... but some little stones made some marking on the teeth. And for sure something went inside. Some abnormal noise.

仔細O的睇,挑咗係大齒或摩打齒上面攝實O既石仔出嚟就唔會再有事.

too late.... the noise is confirmed coming from the spur and pinion gear. Seems need to change both.

In order to prevent this happen again.... here is my DIY solution

hi, if you take a look at the chasis, there is a slot right below the 'big teeth', you can put a sticker to cover the slot and the problem will be fixed, the stone is actually come from below, not from the top. Unless you will change to a bigger diameter one, the sticker will not affect the spinning of the teeth.

I will tape the bottom too. Haven't bought the gears yet, so can't test run it.

我都試過挑番粒鐵屎咁既野出黎 !

Here is the updated picture. I bought a new Robinson 48pitch spur gear and Robinson extra hard pinion gear for it, but..... it still doesn't sound very smooth

What's going on? I opened both bulk head, and checked all dog bones....

I am using Sorex r32..... seems not very good for street run. Or it could be my setting? What tires are good for street run? 有文 or 沒文?
