標題: Building Mi5, step 8 and 17B are so interesting... [打印本頁] 作者: RGear 時間: 2013-5-27 11:11 標題: Building Mi5, step 8 and 17B are so interesting... Just finished Step 17B, found that the step 8 and 17B, would like to share my experience for other Mi5 owner:
1) Step 8: add moly grease between the gear and the plastic ring, place the ring on table, and push the gear down
2) Step 17B, the O-ring between output and slider:
- also add moly grease
- Most important step is move the 10x15x4 ball bearing outward little bit, as stopper to keep the O-ring stay at the slot, then push the slider inside.

bother i didn't add grease on either step,
i did the same as u on step 17b,
for step 8 i just push it with a flat metal object with the gear on the ground it snap together very easy

hi how did you done the step 17b did you use some tools to push the slider??or just hand can done??
