My most love Tamiya Buggy, when it firstly introduced in 1988, I was just a F.2 student. Has no money to buy this car, what a regret....

Now I am finally become a owner of this car, although it is 18 years later, wonderful to get the childhood memory again.

I also have a Avante 2001. I remembered I bought it in Wai Gx 5 years ago. In that time, the kit is reduced price from $1600 to $1000. Seem that no one want to buy it. Of course, I bought it and recently I built it up.

But compared to Avante, Avante 2001 is just a toy.

Trust me brother explorer888, the place we go to isn't that terriable for vintages... besides using a little bit of tires and a little bit of dusting, it's a lot of fun...
Put some cheapo 101 ESC and 3003 and off we go! Get a set of spare tires if you can and putting it on the ground sometimes isn't a bad idea!!! Afterall, RCs are built to play!!!

I was hoping to get the Super Astute to finish off this part of the collection, but still wating for one that looks good and also at an acceptable price.

Part from that i will say i am done wit the Tamiya buggy collection because i personally is not a fan of Hot Shot/Fox/SUper shot.....i only like buggy with sleek low profile body line~

Perhaps one thing i want to get is the Willy Wheeler....it still is one of the most adorable RC car from tamiya....hahaha...one day i shall have that....and i want it new built~

My Egress from Japan Yahoo has arrived yesterday!

All the parts of the car is original and condition is quite well. I just need to disassemb the car and wash and polish dirty parts. Besides, a new decal and undercowl was bought so as to make it a shelf queen status. The shell is quite nice but the original decal is old, so I peel them off. New decal is ready.

The car came with a very new ADSPEC remote set and Dyna Tech 02H and a gold battery. It can run and condition is quite good. But I think I will not run it.

Most surprise is that the car came with optional front and rear posi-joint universal set. It is perfect!

Once upon a time I want to search parts to upgrade my Avante 2001 to Egress. After I know more about Egress, then I realized there are many different parts between two cars. So I give up upgrade but bid a new one. I especially enjoyed Egress came with titanium screw and many other expensive options. So NIB is well worth to keep.

Team Avante is getting stronger and bigger!!

Bidding many parts from Yahoo Japan in Christmas time but recieved yesterday, my new built Avante from parts are almost done, just need the last pack of 8mm aluminum adjuster!
