Oh man, is that what U get recently??  good on U, pls take more photos .... Is this a Truggy??
作者: Jackson    時間: 2006-2-18 12:25
Nope, it's not a truggy. It's basically a huge rally car with a normal body (real world rally type, Citroen). It is a S3 competition buggy with the rally conversion on it. The engine will come after this is finish building. It is going to be an Axial .32. Lots of power!

Awsome buddy~~~

The TTR stuff has the nicest packaging I have ever seen   Quickly build it up and show it off to us~~~

BTW, how much are those Axial motors running for in Canada?

My folks are gonna be visiting the US soon, gonna give'em a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG shopping  list.
作者: Jackson    時間: 2006-2-18 22:22
Haha, crunch, I agree with the packaging. Even the picture of the chassis "sticks" out from the box literally. It's very cool.

The Axial .28 is going for $199.99, and the .32 is $239.99. I looked at the OS .30VG, around $350! Too expensive since this car won't be racing. I have heard good stuff about these Axial engines, they haven't been out too long though (about a month). But it definitely sounds like it has some serious power. I guess we will just have to wait and see...

$199 CAD is a petty good price.  Might get one while my folks are in the US.  I'm sure they are cheaper in the States too!!

Woohoo~~
作者: Jackson    時間: 2006-2-19 05:42
I read that the .28's are $170usd, and the .32's are $210usd.
Build will start tonight, I will update you guys with pictures of each session.

The red piece on the steering is an upgrade. The difference from stock is this is red and has bearings.

It must be very fun when playing big Monster Trucks in the snow .... a lot of climing and drifting actions by big wheels .... Hong Kong doesn't have the luxury of doing this man ....
作者: Jackson    時間: 2006-3-3 10:59
Yup, lots of drifting here...not just RC's too
Snow is the only time 1:1 FWD can drift easily here

作者: crunch    時間: 2006-3-3 11:57
Snow drifting is FUN!!!  That was actually how I learnt defensive driving.........

Full speed into an empty car park.....pull the handbrake to see how many turns I can spin or how fast I can drift around the light pole.    This was way before the Initial D craz too!!

Sorry folks....I'm way off topic here........

Very difficult if you have a high powered monster truck, i remeber driving my mad force on packed snow last year and all it did was slide i couldn't even get control of it. But hell was it fun! it got my friends all wet aswell when i attempt a big snow drift but then i would have probably crashed

I remeber seeing your pajero a long long time ago, i even asked you for tips at radiocontrolzone forum and scale4x4rc.us! i think we knew (well i knew you) each other before meeting here, you were JChung right? but that was a long long time ago

i had a few name: ZeroMax and MAD FORCE i think, i remeber adoring Doom's on road brushless pajero! it was amazing! jack, why don't you buy the 'touareg CC-01? surely its nearly the same as the pajero and better in kit form too
作者: Jackson    時間: 2006-3-6 01:03
Because this one I saw this less than half the price of the Toureg...although it doesn't include an ESC, but I should be able to get one of those from my NIB's. I want one to hack with...just can't put myself to driving the life out of mine right now

Thats what R/C's are for jack! crashing bashing and breaking i have to say ALL of my r/c cars have lived a full life and a pajero at half the price of a touareg that is a very good offer you can't turn down whats more getting an aftermarket ESC is even better than the ol' MSC
