In case of Tamiya re-release 959, I think the selling price should over 1k. Because 959 is more complicated than hotshot!!

If I remember correctly, at around 85-87, the price of Hotshot was $520-550 (Nova at YauMaTei sold at only $460).

959 should be around $600.

I did the same. Optima was the best at that time.

I think they will make the 540vz too coz this is the only motor will fit into this car.........special motor fitting

However, I prefer Tamiya re-issue Celica Gr.B since it built with centre differential which 959 without.
