標題: 点解 ep not coming out the pivot ball system?
小弟想问。

点解 ep not coming out the pivot ball system? then we can buy less part and no king pin to fall, caster can easy adjust.toe in or out easily....

did ep car equip this system before?

i need your professional opinion.

我都一直覺得奇怪~
加左唔會話重好多
setting會易d,
唔駛再因要改setting宜買parts(d parts仲要唔係平)

當年的Xray EVO 2都用 ball的。但可能係舊膠大,姐係重,所以電車無用到。caster用C 座去就已經夠,toe in用個尾hub用個臂碼就就夠。

me also think like tat.

maybe trf 416 will come out .  then we have to pay again and again.

still waiting someone smarter than me to answer this question.

how come? you means u like to change c hub to adjust caster...change 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, XD to adjust rear toe-in?

brother, option part cost alot and yet, we are not just maintain 1 brand car.

i think pivot ball system give me a smooth steering move than using king pin....

did u play GP before? or just try to turn GP ball steering before ? 415 mre is near perfect, but what i mention is lasting and easy setting.

my v1rrr didnt bring me setting problem at all even i bang at wall at high speed accident.

did u agree?

冇呀, 我冇玩過GP......
但我agree, 個ball system 係方便d, 唔洗今多parts...

Hard to find, due to Tamiya stop making the F201 chassis la.

Because pivot ball have a different the suspension geometry with C-hub/Camber design. At the same time C-hub/Camber design has a proven performance and most of the brands have more then 10 year experience (stock) in develop C-hub/Camber suspension. It is high risk for them to develop a car using pivot ball front suspension but still has the enough ability to win in the market.

If you look at the current suspension design, the lower and upper mounting of the C-hub with A-arm and camber-link is not a vertical line. This affects the rate of change of camber in suspension travel. It also allow the A-arm to have longest extend toward outside which increase the grip and stability (Details on this kind of suspension geometry should reference to Kyosho's 1st generation Lazer buggy)

Pivot ball design..... no idea!

淨係睇XRAY點解要由波頭轉返做普通C HUBS......就知一定係有佢唔好O既原因......
