標題: Savage wheelie question
I saw some videos that the E-Savage and GP Savage can do wheelie (front wheels in the air, back wheels on ground) easily by pressing the throttle quickly. But both of my trucks cannot do wheelie no matter how quickly I press the throttle. Any suggestions? Thanks.

First press back and than pressing the throttle front quickly , will wheelie until you release the throttle .

For my experence, I only hv GP savage can share and my savage always wheelie,
there is no any special technique necessary, u just need suddenly full throttle and yr savage will wheelie.
It very depense on yr engine is that power enough. If power enough, it's easy to wheelie.
I use STS 28 engine.................can easy to do that.

Lower gear ratio will help, change a larger spur or smaller clutch bell

Thanks. I thought I could just press forward throttle without pressing backward first.

Thanks valklai and ftbingobingo. I used the stock Savage X RTR engine and original spur and clutch bell. Looks like it is not enough.

I think the stock engine also can do that.
Hv u leak the low speed needle?? I belive if u lean the low speed needle yr savage can wheelie.

May i suggest you change a high / fast respone servo for the throttle instead of the original one.

For my experience the stock engine have enough power to push the Savage wheelie Or ^_^

Thanks for your tip. Actually I used 4pcs alkaline battery which makes the servo even slower. I should have changed to 5 cell NiMH battery pack. I want to buy the GP one but KWS only have Intellect or other brand.

You are the right choice like this because I use the stock servo for the throttle servo,
and its work ok&acceptable u can try. For the receiver battery u can DIY to make it fit for
yr savage.But remember don't play wheelie too many because it harmful for the spur gear.

I use Intell for a long time and found it work good Wor!!!!!

Agreed with Brother Valklai, its really harmful to the spur gear.
