Here are some sneak photos of a "how to" guide I am writing on how to convert your M04L to a short wheelbase that will fit the Tamtech Ferrari GTO body.

The how to guide should be online in a week or so.

Tamtech Ferrari GTO body would fit on 1/12 pan car , i tried , that is ok .
how to fit on M04M(WB=225mm) ? Cut chassis ???????

i had inspect your pictures the secrets may be in the front sus-arm....

934 body? hmmm, that could be a bit harder, the new Martini 935 body might work, if the wheelbase is the same as the GTO.

i am going to convert my m04 to 210mm in wheelbase .
and try the feeling in control...

bcgg - nice diy conversion! is it hard to drive? I have not driven my M04SS yet.

aydinkao - yes you were correct, the front arms help the most to shorten the wheelbase.

When I get time to drive my M04SS I will post some setup tips - which tires work, and which springs and shocks

but still one question to ask........is the front arm stable enough ??........coz' I saw you just using one allen screw to fix each front arm ...........while the rear one using two screws.......

This is m04, but the gearbox is installed reversely.
