標題: Hot Bodies D2 Buggy 初現 [打印本頁] 作者: minimini 時間: 2008-6-28 01:22 標題: Hot Bodies D2 Buggy 初現 Hod Bodies new two wheel drive electric buggy - the D2 - has finally been seen in public this past week over in the USA. The car was raced last weekend in preparation for this weekends Hot Rod Hobbies Shootout - 27-29th June.
Team drivers Travis Amezcua and Jesse Robbers, along with Adam Skelding from England who actually designed the car for Hot Bodies - will all be racing the car at the shootout. Adams car is the one shown in the photos - kindly sent over from the event! The refinements and details are still to come, but Hot Bodies haven't been sitting still since the prototype first appeared earlier this year.
The car still uses the alloy main chassis and moulded side 'pods' - but the 2-piece towers are replaced with more conventional 1-piece designs. The most striking thing without looking under the body, is the body shell itself, which has never been seen in public before. This is clearly designed to match its 4WD sibling, the D4.
