2WD off-road choices

About a year ago, I bought a Traxxas Rustler.  
Poor handling, damper broke, and I didn't like the controller at all.

About 6 months ago, I bought a Losi High Roller
Good looking, but that's about it.  Poor handling, very easy to break.  Wheel broke (the driving part), arm broke, servo saver broke.

C Hings, please help to choose a new off-road car.  I want it to be durable, and can handle Novak 8.5R.  Preferred single battery cars.

Because I don't race, so no need to get a "pro" car.  Besides, I don't want to buy split battery for it.  Thanks!

SLASH AND SC10 IS GOOD
my friend's slash is super durable
but I like sc10 more because I own a T4
