yes, just thorw it away is the best measure

3 reasons

1) too low voltage (too deep discharge....each cell <3v)
2) too high voltage for storage (each cell > 3.85v)
3) internal instability - happen in poor quality lipo

How long  do i need to charge it after use if the battery is not fully used???

buy lipo with recognized brand names , e.g. IP, Orion, ...ask advice from those hobby shops

Avoid the practice that play till the car cannot move anymore....This practice shall be avoid
No need to trust those auto lipo cut off.  If u feel the car slower significantly....stop to play

for storage, charge the lipo up to 3.85V each cell...and go to meaure its voltage every three month....make sure its voltage at 3.85 V

And dont go to rape your battery.  For example, if some people play 4.0T motor, it will draw high current.  If your battery is 25C only, i dont recomment to use 25C for those high power motor...
