I set my charger to discharge mode (set to 1A).
When i start to discharge my fully charged battery.
It actually draw 0.6A...from battery.
question: Why it can't discharge at preset 1A?
Is the internal resistance of Lipo too high?
PS- my charger is megapower 830dc
That's because the charger can't dissipate that much energy. When the battery is discharged initially, it's voltage is over 8V and therefore the discharge current is limited to a lower value. When the battery voltage has become lower, the discharge current will increase.
