I wonder if putting extra weight at the unsuspended part of the chassis is such a good idea. I am guessing that it would slow down the reaction time of the suspension system and probably causing extra stress. Or is that a good thing? I would have thought a better to place the ballast would be at the gear box? It would give a more dramatic effect for a given gain in weight. And being suspended part of the chassis should not slow down the action of the shock...right?
