Product information This model is a semi-scale version of the “SYSTEMS” catamaran operated by the 1986 world offshore champions Bob Kaiser and Errol Lanier. The full-size vessel packs more than 1500 BHP and is capable of better than 200 km/hr. The GRAUPNER model of this racing catamaran is by no means an everyday model, and offers the experienced racing boat enthusiast exciting opportunities for experimentation in the hydro-boat area. The model is designed for the HYDROSPEED 606 twin-motor electric power system or a single HYDROSPEED FLEX DRIVE 700 TURBO power system. For even greater speed you can install the high-performance GRAUPNER ULTRA 1300-9M motor. Speeds of up to 30 km/hr are possible depending on the power system. For the internal combustion version we recommend the OS MAX 21 RX-M ABC 3.46 cm3 glowplug motor.
The vacuum-moulded hull and highly pre-fabricated parts make the model quick and easyto complete.
Pack contents Quick-build plan with RC installation and building instructions in German / English / French and Dutch. Vacuum-moulded ABS plastic hull, deck and cover, die-cut plywood parts, stripwood, self-adhesive decals, small parts.
