Sealed Gear Box

It's funny that I found many low-end buggy have sealed gear box, and high-end buggy are not sealed.  Many high-end buggy only use the shell to block the dirt/rocks.  I mean 4WDs.  

I guess it's for faster/easier maintenance?  High-end buggy supposed to run on nice off-road (no dirt) tracks while low-end buggy run on dirt?  

totally agree ,high end for high grade $ ppl. play each time need to replace,

tats y i use yokomo cgm-sd with gear cover for ep, and FW-05rr for gp.

low maintain on gear part.

for buggy, used to play DF-03, but the slipper clutch's metal gear easy to wear and not worth to play , waiting for DB-01

so DF03 is low end buggy?
so how abt Lazer Zx-5?

usually shaft driven buggy has sealed gearbox and belt driven buggy don't, regardless low or top end

DB01 will break the rule.  Belt drive buggy with sealed gear box
