In terms of handling, 2WD and 4WD are totally different!!

4WD is good in cornering, and 2WD is good in speed!!

If the track is a big oval, I will bet 2WD.
But if in TRC, for sure 4WD!!    This is only my humble opinion!!

I was looking at this last week.  US$179.  Price is not bad, but it looks very similar to Traxxas Rustler which I bought it, and don't like it.

Maybe HPI is better?  I don't know, but I don't think they will come up with a buggy.  All their off-road cars are truggy.

幾時出kit版?

Seems like HPI are targetting lower end users.  Almost everything are RTR.  You may hope Hot Bodies to come up with something.
