Want to play RC battleship, may I ask most of the battleship need to be self modified from static model or have some RC kits to be build?

recent im interest too....
i search KWS today, they are EXPENSIVE !

almost every kit battleship , about 4' long, was over 5000 HKD .....

but damn they are nice build ....$$$

I am also a RC-boat beginner.
Most of the RC battleship models I met are either converted from static models or home-made.
Kits are very expensive and need to order from RC shops or from internet shops.
So why don't start to built one from static models?
The prices are very attractive.  If you have some experience in converting models and some knowledge in RC, it is not difficult to convert one.
