ESC use with white pig

Can any ching advise whether 1/18 ESC can use with white pig ? I want to slow down my 4WD buggy for my boy's play. If 1/18 ESC is OK then I don't need to buy a new ESC...

Changing to a 1/18 ESC will not slow down the car.
For you to slow down the car, you can do it several ways:
1) smaller pinion (or larger gear ratio)
2) use less voltage
3) trim your throttle (hi-point)
4) slower motor (white pig is already very slow... maybe a crawler type motor is slower)

2/. difficult, I only have 7.2v pack

4/. yes will use white pig 9 (cheap ah...)

It depends on the 'Amp' rating on the 1/18 ESC.  It's difficult to answer.

I have a cheap cheap TOP80A ESC from my rubbish HL 1/18 china buggy, but I think it will not exceed 20A....so Iwonder if white pig is OK with it or not ??
