yes, lipo is good. High capacity, C rating and voltage, but i find that the long term performance is not as good as A123. i think for ppl like me who play intermittently A123 is perfect. Its cheap, easy to maintain, very reliable, and i dont worry anymore about puffed cells. I sleep better at night with the perceived safety of A123 over lipo.
For JV track, i agree lipo has vastly superior performance over A123. But for small track like WC, performance wise is negligible.
its interesting that the newer tamiya 104bk esc has LiFe cutoff and not lipo cutoff. |
