i am new to mini z as well. just farming a bit fo i'm here tryin to answer all i know. But another thing u can do is read through some of the posts here. If you jus go through the first 2 pages. it will mostly answer ur questions.
MR 01,02,03 are just the models of the chassis, MR stands for rear wheel drive.
MA 010, 015 are the models for AWD (all wheel drive) chassis. if you would like to play drift, AWD (MA) would be your choice.
AM and 2.4 are just the frequencies the rc uses. the older models uses AM to connect between the remote and the car the disadvantage is that there maybe chances of signal jam when playing. The trend now is usually towards 2.4ghz band now. the disadvantage is mainly the costs. it's kind of like the difference between infared and bluetooth.
In terms of the shell, i think there is an AE86 shell for MA chassis. if you go through the other posts i remember seeing one ching giving a link that shows the difference shells offered to the chassises.
The issue with antennas, if you go with 2.4, i dont think any of them stick out, i think it's just the AM cars.
if you are just planning to play on a football field or outdoors, are you playing for serious? if you just want to play for a little bit and not too serious or dont really plan to spend alot of money i would suggest a ready set. I saw ma-010 ready set (drift setting) which comes along with an AE 86 shell in KWS. was selling for around 1500-1600. maybe you can start with that. otherwise if you buy everything separately, cost might be around 3000-3500. I hope this helps. and do try reading through some of the other posts they will really help you decide what you want to start off with.
sorry, I'm too lazy to type in chinese; well i type faster in english. hope this helps.
I'm not sure if what i'm saying is 100% correct, it's just from what i read over the last two days and visiting the two indoor tracks. Any ching feel free to correct me or add on. |
