New Kyosho 1/12

Is it available in KWS? Looking good, want to have one.
Any other suggestion? Requirement: 1) Metric screw; 2) Common wheel hub; and 3) Parts availability.

It looks good but parts might be hard to find ... Go for Serpent or Xray ....

Unless you are a Kyosho 'diehard' fan,  I agree that another brand is better because of parts availability in HK.

I have both Serpent and Xray. Design-wise, S120LT and x12 Link are similar. S120LT allows the Lipo to place either left side or right side.
Material-wise, I would vote for Xray, plastic material is good, ball bearings are high grade.
Part support - I think both brand are easy to get in HK.

both xray and serpent are very good cars. their parts fit very well and the parts are easy to get in hk. i too vote for xray as their material is a little better than serpent.

xray has some issues with the rear carbon axle before, i dont know if their link car still comes with the old axle or the new axle.

I found there is no spur gear included in the Serpent kit (read from RCMan, I'm still waiting for mine). Is it the same as touring spur gear? Or special spur gear for 1/12?

suggest to use 88t-94t spur, Xenon VSS for DD (direct drive)

And about the gear ratio, if I use 1s lipo & 13.5t (at first, after test/practice, may use 5.5t), what is the gear ratio I should use for initial setup?

Price is in between xray and yokomo. Got it from local store here in Singapore. Will post more pictures once it is built.
