As noted above, depends on how you define "fast". Straight line speed or overall reduced lap time. For me, in all cases, I would say consistency. I myself try to achieve this by working on my setup then practice, practice and practice. You can spend $$$$ on faster motor, esc, higher C batteries, chassis etc... and gain 0.XX maybe even a second or two per lap then one crash and you've lost anywhere from a few seconds to DNF (if you are racing) or game over for the night (if just playing). More you practice the better/faster you become. So apart from time, if you have money burning in your pocket, I guess I would use my coins on batteries and tires. |
