oh my god you are so lucky! damn my dad is currently is the UK so he can't pre-order from HK.....

do you have an idea of what it will cost? and the number that tamiya are producing?

The cost should be similar to the Haulers right now. So somewhere around $400usd for us in North America.  I don't know if it will be a limited release. I doubt it as this is a "NEW" truck. Many people refer it to the Bruiser, but I don't know why? It seems like just a new truck that has little essence of the Bruiser. But is completely different and nothing like the Bruiser.

haha, calling it a 'bruiser' is very significant there is a sense of satisfaction owning a 'bruiser' or at least a replica not only that but its general design looks like the improved version or modernised version of a bruiser, it even has a 3speed transmission! look at it this way, you know the car makers Honda/Acura? they stopped making the NSX a while ago and there are rumours about a new supercar from honda. in essence we all know its an NSX but its called the HSC.....i guess its just a way we recognise the originals and compare it will the modern versions of what it was

The 3-speed in this will be different than the 3-speed in the old Bruiser. The old Bruiser had 1st gear- 4wd, 2nd gear- low speed 2wd, 3rd gear- high speed 2wd. If this is the same as the Hauler, it will just be different speeds in 4wd.

The wheels should be bigger

It uses touring wheels. So the hex should be able to fit 2.2 size wheels. Plenty of choices.

This is sure a good news....  But of course, nothing can replace the original Brusiers........  
Now my question is:  is this for "slow climb" or this is for high speed bashing........  Very confusing image...

Chassis looks similar to a 1/14 Container Truck .....

With "new lights it would be up to $2.5k or above.............

But i'm sure 20 years on, this will become a classic

Pre-ordering so I make sure I can get mine. It's like the Lunchbox when it first came out, Tamiya was surprised with the sales of this truck that they were out of stock for over a month! And I assure you this is going to sell a lot faster than the Lunchbox.

I just received an email from the hobby shop I tried to pre-order 2. Turns out there were already many people pre-ordering it, so I could only get 1 pre-ordered. Going to each other hobby shop to pre-order 1 this weekend. I must have at least 2 of these!!!

Tamiya doesn't announce the scale of the truck, brother jack do you know how big it is or any more info?

It should be about the same size as the Bruiser. Because I just saw a Jugg body on the bruiser the other day. So it's a little bigger than 1/10. I don't even know if it's possible to get 4 now. There are many many pre-orders even here! I am not rich, the funds are from selling like 10 of my RC's right now.
