3-axle trailer use as Flatbed

I thinking about using the 3-axle trailer as a flat-bed trailer. Simply don't attach the sides and the top. Will it work? I wonder if it will look strange? Any c-hing has done it before? Have pic?

I am thinking of putting a 450 helicopter on the flat bed. Should be close to the same scale.
