416FX LiPo Chassis

Smokem Racing has developed a new LiPo chassis for the TRF416-series touring cars. The 2.2mm thick chassis has been designed to provide additional flex. This gives better traction in low traction situations. It also gives you a wider tuning window, allowing you to dial the car in over a range of temperature and track conditions.

With an overall width of only 94mm, scrubbing during hard cornering is minimized. By flipping the drive belts, the LiPo is offset further from the chassis centerline. While on the other side, the original servo mounts are flipped to move the servo closer to the centerline. The receiver and ESC can also be shifted further towards the centerline.

With both longitudinal and lateral battery tape slots, the Smokem Racing LP chassis accepts all LiPo’s - with or without humps - without additional retainers that may induce tweak. It is suitable for all TRF416-series including the original TRF416, TRF416 Worlds Edition and the TRF416X.
