Many people said SAAB is rubbish, but most of them are not SAAB owner, they just read or heard from others that SAAB is rubbish and then they go telling others SAAB is rubbish, so these ching's comment is not correct, becasue they do not have any experience on SAAB.
I WAS a SAAB owner for 2 years, it was a 9-5 2.3Aero, I am "qualified" to comment SAAB,
my comment is , SAAB is a great piece of rubbish, so rubbish that I'll never consider it's car forever.....
It was a pre-used car, 3years, 0 hands, 38k km when I bought it, I drove this car for 2 years, tow for 7 times,
1/. shutdown in highway, tow, cause : plastic holder for fuel pipe crack, no fuel supplybto engine.
2/. cannot move car, tow, cause : plastic ball head connecting wire to gearbox crack, cannot operate the gearbox.
3/. slight smoke off enginer compartment in highway, then strong smell inside car, tow, cause : compressor unit burnt out, need to replace the air-conditioning component, $$$.
4/. gearbox alarm in highway, then engine shutdown, tow, cause : gearbox sensor cable off position due to plastic bushing crack.
5/. driver seat safety belt cannot pull out, cause : plastic component crack and "click" the belt.
6/. speedmeter non-function, cause : speed sensor damage.
7/. ABS alarm and gearbox alarm in highway, then no speed indication. tow, cause : ABS electronic assembly damage. Garage has no parts to repair, so I need to tow it back to DCH, they send me a quotaion of HK$55xxx to repair "all the problem".
I French Connection United Kingdom DCH up and sold the piece of rubbish to a car trader in a rubbish price.
So my conclusion is SAAB is rubbish ! |
