Product Information The SYDNEYSTAR is a semi-scale model of a long-range container ship. The model includesall the characteristic features and details of these vessels, as we wanted theship to have as realistic an appearance as possible. Construction of the modelis greatly simplified by the high level of pre-fabrication of the kit’scomponents, many of them die-cut or CNC-machined, plus the many fittingsincluded in the kit as standard, including winches, companionways andinjection-moulded handrails. Nevertheless, the model is only recommended forthe experienced marine modeller. The two transverse thrusters at bow and sternallow the model to traverse (move sideways) and turn on the spot withoutdifficulty, without the need for tugs.
