I upgraded to HW120A 2.1 for my TA06, using the original 68T/23T and the ratio should be around 6.42.
I am using a HW10.5T motor. The turbo setting is the recommended setting from HW manual. This setting is normal? Too agressive?
I have this question because the banana plug of the motor came off after 1-2 minutes run... not sure overheat or not.. (P.S. the motor is 2nd hand, not brand new)
Anyway, I reconnect all the wire again. See if any advise from all C-Hing here.
If the wire desolder itself it means the wire getting too hot becuase of the over current load. Try increasing the gear ratio say to around 7. And test from there. Cheers
Have a quick test at JV yesterday. After I re-wiring from esc to motor, still melted...
Fact:
Ratio should be 79/23 or 24. above 7
esc: HW 120A 2.1
motor HW 10.5T
open small turbo as suggested in the HW firmware spec.
Is that I shouldn't use the plug and should wire it directly from esc? Or I should get some better 錫?
