Building Mi5, step 8 and 17B are so interesting...

Just finished Step 17B, found that the step 8 and 17B, would like to share my experience for other Mi5 owner:
1) Step 8: add moly grease between the gear and the plastic ring, place the ring on table, and push the gear down
2) Step 17B, the O-ring between output and slider:
- also add moly grease
- Most important step is move  the 10x15x4 ball bearing outward little bit, as stopper to keep the O-ring stay at the slot, then push the slider inside.

bother i didn't add grease on either step,

i did the same as u on step 17b,

for step 8 i just push it with a flat metal object  with the gear on the ground it snap together very easy

u got to say it is easy to assemble,  because all the parts are labeled as steps

btw mine is done, just i need to find a matching motor pinion

My Mi5 is completed too, will use 22T 48P pinion, 7.5T motor for preliminary testing :>

hi how did you done the step 17b did you use some tools to push the slider??or just hand can done??
i already pull the bearing out a bit.....but can't to push the slider...thx
