我覺得losi 1/14 比較好玩同實淨, 另外1/16 E-revo 買申电都好煩因要buy細size 3lpo battery.

1/14 LOSI use 3S lipo or 2S lipo is also OK! This is very good car and fast use 3S lipo and just use 1 battery.

For 1/16 E-revo which use 3S lipo for playing, i feel not very fast compare with 1/14 LOSI!

If make a ranking to the RC,

1) 1/14 Losi, very nice size and play any where, just use 1 3S lipo batt.

2) 1/8 Asso, very fast use 2no. of 2S lipo, but very heavy.

3) Kyosho mini buggy, easy to storage at home which the size is very good.

4) 1/16 E-revo, use 2nos. of 3S lipo but i feel not so fast, very hard to buy the  {banned}ing small size battery!

That is weird... The battery compartment of Revo, is better shape then the mini 8, you need to do some trimming/cutting for the mini8 to fit most lipo...

Revo can fit 2200-2400mah 2s (or 4s on both) or ~1800 may 3s.

But it is true, the Losi mini8 is by far better car, much better handling, both can do~70km/hr easy, but you can still control the mino8.

And the Losi is only 2/3 the price of the Revo!

C hing, Thanks for your info! I will consider sell my 1/16 E-REVO and get a 1/14 Losi.  One more question, does the 1/14 Losi use standard size 3S Lipo battery?

For 3s lipo, it is no standard size!

I just use the small size of 3S lipo (1300mah) used in E-revo 1/16 and put into LOSI 1/14.

Now, i still find the most suitable 3S lip to fit both E-revo 1/16 and LOSI 1/14 at KWS.

For LOSI 1/14, it is very eary to trim the battery tray to fit different size of 3S lipo battery.

But for 1/16 E-revo, i think it not easy to modify the battery tray to suit some different size of 3S lipo, and hard to find the suit size 3S lipo for existing E-revo battery tray as just my point of view.

Thank Ching if can let me know where buy the suitable 3S lipo for 1/16 E-revo.

Actually, my mistake, with 3s, I run 1400mah 3s and 1550 (kind of tight) for my mini Revo, same for my Mini8, (can run 1800mah 3s as well, but very tight for the body shell, and I found 2s is quite decent for mini 8

You can also consider to run TWO pack of 3s parallel, so you can easily run ~3000mah plus, and better balance too.

I found 3s is max "drivable" for mini Revo, with 4s or 14.8 .... just too much!

If you guys like Mini 8, can also consider the Schumacher/LC 1/14 buggy, not sure if it is easy to get parts in HK, but it is overall better car then the Losi mini 8.

One more thing, the overheating of motor is always a problem with my 1/16 E-REVO.  Is there anyone having the same problem?
