It has nice metal shocks, threaded, 4WD, water proof, 2.4g, full bearing, adjustable tire rod,sexy body,nice wheel and tire.
Speed, at Stock form, it is "ok" probably 25mph/40km/hr, about the same as a Brushed traxxas Slash, much faster then stock Tamiya RTR, if you want more speed, just run bigger pinion, stock is 24 or 25, can go 30/31 no problem. Good for HK.
I hv concern about the water proof esc, from Orion site, it claims 45A, from Hobbywing site, it claims 35A, but Kyosho claims only 25A, and I called Kyosho about it, they said 25A... But the motor is 4pole... A 25A esc for sure wont be good for a 540 4pole....
After runs, I suspected the power from the motor, a bit too soft as 4 pole...so I took it out, it is super light, at 147g!! I opend it... The rotor is only about HALF the size of regular 540, so it basically a 370 or 380 motor... with 540 can.
Handling is good, again, it is kyosho, and this is based on their Fazer.. However, lot of play with the steering, not much to do, unless Kyosho has metal/bearing steering to offer. the servo is weak, I believe about 60oz-65 oz, not too too bad for bash around.
It comes down to price, if it is around 1,500-1800HKD, great buy! |
