因為車架一軟呢,就即係扭,一則扭太多會變型,二則唔係架架車都可以俾你咁準確調整個扭曲度.XRAY可以俾你咁SET,但唔代表架架都可以咁SET,變左你好難知道要扭幾多,咁就搞到架車好難SET得準確.

Dear AMAT, I might not be able to agree with you. Soft chassis will be helpful when running in track with low traction. Some of the European XRAY Team drivers use this to fine tune their cars at the track during their races (from early in the morning till the final races in the afternoon).
Moreover, you may see that the latest XRAY 008 US version has a thicker chassis (of 3mm) which means the overall stiffness of the chassis for US version will be higher than EU version. Now when running indoor-carpet track, we need stiffer chassis since carpet track is always able to offer higher traction than the asphalt tracks. You can see that US version is designed for this purpose. If a soft chassis is used in a high-traction track, too much traction rolling will occur during cornering. The car may end up turning upside down (or "cup-4"). |
