977 is almost done, IDM engine on it ;)
Still need to install clutch and prepare bodyshell.

Ran Torque Picco engine on my 966TE today while running-in the IDM engine on 977. should be able to complete the IDM run in next Sat ;)

地道食物可以去old airport road HDB 入面概大排檔找找.

We call it PA track or RMCM track here in Singapore.
It is along east coast park, towards airport side.

Alex, build of 977 is not bad, only minor touch is required. Fitting well and smooth. Except the quality of ball bearings ;)
Yet to start mrx5wc.
Busy at other project now ;)

Ernest, I agree, I ran my 977 already and it's very steady and fast. I'm still getting used to 1/8 nitro size and speed. This is my first 1/8 nitro car but I'm already in love with this scale! Dont' know if I can go back to 1/10 electric...

I'm fine. Not so crazy as you are. I'm running MTX-5 and a number of RTRs (DBX VE, SkyRC bike) for my 6-year-old kid. Miss the old days.

Hey I was in rctech hk forum too! Was a kid and now I have a kid!

Up to last Sat, total ran about 30 tanks no including engine run-in.
977 performs well, only damage is the plastic servo saver plate. Time to change to alloy option part.

Have not changed the conrod on IDM yet
Check it after run every Sat, will change within the next 2-4L ;)

Broke the rear belt last week and also opened IDM engine to clean up.
Changed to Picco Torque engine with Mugen clutch today, and Protoform PFL 128 body shell.
Anther 30 tanks on the road today ;) Finished 3 new sets of tires

only the clutch bell can be interchanged.
The Mugen flywheel won't fit.

I changed to Mugen clutch only because I have spare unit, nothing wrong on the 977 clutch which is still on IDM engine

After Three years, I am still runing 977 (with many other cars of course)and lately with an OS r2101sp. Just did a complete rebuild, still perform !
