原裝Slash + 3S A123 測試結果

本來諗住玩全原裝，可惜有車友撞左band，都係換返個2.4接收。其他全原裝無郁過，齒比都係18/86。

原裝電變support 8S NiMH 9.6V，3S A123 9.9V唔多好多，同埋A123其實nominal voltage唔夠3.3V，我一般用3.0V計算，電流大我會用2.8V黎計數添！為左可以更有彈性試唔同config，我嘅3S係2S+1S，用蕉插接駁。

結果當然係3S1P比2S2P快好多，原裝18/86齒比如果用2S2P A123比NiMH慢，玩到20分鐘直頭覺得太多。3S1P玩到10-12分鐘，直路拍得住brushless！每次都係玩到覺得慢左就唔夠半圈就行唔郁，差電時話得2%，充返22xxmAh!如果係LiPO就漲到升得起都似...

唔知原裝摩打行3S A123會唔會好快死，死左就換無刷，請問各位師兄Hobbywing 60A夠唔夠玩？有無建議？

Hobbywing 60A is ok, maybe look into EC Power set since it is sensored brushless.

For Lipo 2S (7.4): ~ 5000kv motor
For Lipo 3S (11.1): ~ 3500kv motor
For Lipo 4S (14.4): ~ 2300kv motor
It is plenty fast for 2WD!

For A123, maybe choose something 20% faster than the above kv#. (ie 6000, 4200, 2800)
(Since 3v / 3.7v = ~ 80%)

Thanks very much for your recommendation. I won't consider EC Power as I saw some players here reported that it failed in their first trial. And I think sensor-less for Off-road should be fine.

I think I will take around 4000kv or lower motor which I can gear it for 3S or 4S A123.

其實呢d short course truck用好盈無感4300 kv夠唔夠快(係tko計)???

Traxxas Slash is about 2100g... it is heavier than normal 1/10 truggy (~1600g).  So it is better to use 3S + lower kv motor.

If you pair it with hobbywing 9t, it may overheat the motor. Since hobbywing 9t is a 380 class motor!

I think their XeRun Line (8.5T, 5.5T etc...) are 540 class.
All other brands are 540 class. (Orion, LRP, Novak, SP etc...)
All these 540 class case is circular.  Unlike 13T's can, which has 'built-in' heat sink.

Dont worry, DF-03 is light.  Hobbywing 9T is ok.  Just watch your gearing.
