It might be... but you can certainly try try.....  I have seen people with 2WD Team Associates 1:10 running at the course......  
But don't worry... there are times when the big monsters are taking rest and you can put your car in and play...  I have even ran my 1:18 MB4 in there a couple times!!!  So GO AND HAVE FUN!
